Are you feeling anxious? Please understand that that doesn't mean there is something wrong with you. Our nervous system has a very efficient alarm system, which works a bit like a smoke detector. Unfortunately, as we know, smoke detectors tend to go off whether there is a fire or whether we have burnt our toast... and the same can happen in our brain, generating distress signals when something suggests a threat to our safety, whether real or imaginary.

 

Understanding the process is very useful. Finding (or creating) the right tools for you to have a better quality of life no matter what, is my job and joy.
